Hi All,

I'm currently exploring alternative sail plans for lug rigged Tosher 18s and require some basic data that cannot be found elsewhere or, if available, is inconsistant.  To complete the excercise I need the following information (in metric or imperial units):

1)  Design displacement - i.e. total displacement of completed vessel, including hull, ballast, spars, sails, engine, etc but without extras supplied with the boat (anchors, warps, bilge pumps, etc).

2)  Ballast weight.

3)  Sail area of a standard lug rigged Tosher 18 broken down to include jib, main and mizzen (I believe the total sail area is 220 sqft).

4)  Sail areas of the standard and racing versions of the gaff rigged boats to include jib, staysail, main and topsail.

5)  If known, Length-of-Waterline (LWL) and Beam-at-Waterline (BWL).

My thanks in advance for any responses.  I 've scoured the web but if anyone can suggest any sites which may provide this information (the Gaffers & Luggers site does not seem to include on Toshers in it's portfolio) I will be most grateful.

Malcolm Johnston
