28ft Bethany

Bethany is a GRP flush decked Heard 28 Gaff Cutter built in Mylor, Falmouth in 1991. I am the 2nd owner and have enjoyed cruising her for 10 years. She is in good condition and is a very solid and seaworthy vessel. Large deep safe cockpit, teak covered main deck. Sleeps up to 3 in main saloon and a comfortable 2 in the large foc'sle which also has a hanging locker. Galley is to port with gas stove and sink The generous sized heads are to starboard. Lots of under bunk and other stowage.

Mainsail, Working Jib and No.2 Jib, Reefing Staysail, Topsail.

She is a delight to sail and I often sail singlehanded, her flush decks create sweet lines and a great working platform.

28ft on deck, approx 10ft beam, 5ft draught. Engine is a reliable Lister Alpha 30HP driving a 3 bladed prop. Domestic and Starting Batteries.

Equipment - VHF radio, Garmin 192C chart plotter. Stowe Log/Sounder, Raymarine ST2000 Autohelm, Hand Bearing Compass, 35lb CQR + 60m 5/16 chain, Danforth Kedge and warp, manual bilge pump and electric bilge
pump, Flavel Vanessa stove with oven. Lee cloths to all bunks. Barometer, 2 x paraffin lamps, Horseshoe life ring with light, selection of charts. Wooden Legs.
